Artist and maker interviews

A collection of in-depth interviews with artists, designers, makers and craftspeople, accompanied by photography and, in some cases, film.

The conversations take place on location, within the environments where artists, designers, makers and craftspeople live and work: studios, workshops, homes and other spaces that form part of a creative practice.

Guided by curiosity and careful observation, the conversations move beyond finished work to explore materials, influences, experiences, routines, questions and personal perspectives. Accompanied by photography, they offer a more intimate and nuanced portrait than a portfolio or exhibition presentation alone can provide.

No two conversations unfold in the same way. Some focus on process and materials, others on formative experiences, turning points or enduring fascinations. What they share is time, attention and a genuine interest in the individual behind the work.

These profiles are not promotional snapshots. They are lasting records of creative lives and practices — created to be read, revisited and discovered by new audiences over time.
